Shimmer And Sparkle This Holiday Season

One thing I love about this time of year is dressing up for the holidays. Stitchfix has made it a lot easier on me by providing me some great staple holiday items, like the skirt below. As I was going through my closet trying to find something to wear with it, I remember thinking I wanted something bold, something memorable, something magical. When I went through my pile of sweaters, on the VERY bottom, was this treasure…a sweater I got last year from Ann Taylor, LOFT. It had the perfect sparkle, the perfect shimmer to go with my Stitchfix skirt. I'm always up for mixing patterns and this was a fun outfit to put together! Let me know what you think, I'm always up for suggestions and comments. :)

Girls, if you want a holiday skirt that really shows off your butt, in a good way, you will want this skirt!

I was out doing some Christmas shopping a couple days ago and came across this fun clutch at TJ Maxx, $20.00…Jessica McClintock.

Last but not least, this wouldn't be any fun doing a blog without a picture of me laughing at the guy behind the camera, my wonderful and humorous husband. I love you sweetie, thank you for always keeping it funny!

Happy Holidays everyone, hoping you and your loved ones are enjoying the festive season. Cheers!!

Well I guess they can't all be great, right? #15 Stitchfix was definitely a dud. Totally bummed out about this recent fix. Would love to receive feedback/comments, let me know what you think!! I most likely will keep the Moni Chain Print Stud Detail Blouse and am on the fence about the earrings. All other items are going back!

The earrings below are cute, but still on the fence. What do you think? Worth $32.00??

Although this sweater fit nicely and was comfortable, I just couldn't get into it. I kinda felt like I was back in Elementary school, mad at my Mom for putting me in a sweater I didn't like and sending me on my way. I actually liked the button-back look, but wasn't thrilled about the color or the print/angles.

The dress was just NOT worth the price tag of $138.00. It was cute, I liked it okay…but it had a gathered pleat across my boobs that was just not flattering. It was difficult getting a good pic of the pleats, my hubby and I laughed as he tried his best to get a good shot!

Drum role please!! The next item was the most hideous, which is unfortunate because it was actually very comfortable. I just couldn't get over the cut/style of it…especially in the arms. I went on a little adventure with it.

Highlight of my day, catching up with a friend at lunch. It's been a good week!! Today's outfit was all about being comfy but still looking cute. ;) Did I mention how excited I am to be wearing sweaters?! #arizonaproblems

This sweater is a favorite from a couple years back from Anthropologie, very light weight…perfect for Arizona weather.
The necklace is also a favorite from this season, found it online at JazzyK boutique.
The jeans are from Stitchfix, Kensie brand.
Still loving on my boots from Hautelook, brand is Dolce Vita. My purse is a great find from TJMaxx, Italian made, brand is Arcadia…genuine patent leather.

Dug deep into my closet to put this outfit together. Forgot how much a like this Old Navy Corduroy skirt. It's all about the brown's and red's today! Topped it off with some fun socks and boots. Sweater is from Victoria Secret, plaid shirt underneath is from Stitchfix, letter B necklace is from Shopprimadonna and the other one is from Banana Republic, and the purse is Coach. I think that's all, have a great Tuesday everyone!!

It was an absolutely beautiful day today in Arizona! Started early with a 7 mile run, in training mode again for the Phoenix Rock N' Roll 1/2 Marathon in January. With the perfect weather we sat outside on the patio with our morning cup a joe. I'm proud of myself for getting dressed today! 🙌 My sweater and shorts are from Ann Taylor. Shoes are Adrienne Vittadini, a TJ Maxx find and the purse is Maurizio Taiuti. Other than that accomplishment, not a lot more to report...other than a lot of college football watching, which means it was a perfect Saturday in my mind. Enjoy your weekend!!

It was a beautiful day in Arizona today. We made an impromptu trip with the kids to the Mesa Riverview Park. We basked in the sun for a couple hours while the kids wore themselves out on the 60 foot mesh rope climbing structure, playground and splash pad. Loving my new scarves I got from Prima Donna! They are light weight, perfect for Arizona fall weather. I'll be showing off the other two in the next week or so, stay tuned. Happy Sunday everyone!
